ABOUT THE CAMP
We host a summer cheerleading camp which is perfect for anyone wanting a cheer taster or to build upon their previous training! Camps will cover all the key elements of cheerleading like jumps, stunts, tumbling, shapes, stretching and dance. We will have access to all of our facilities and equipment for the full week and allow athletes to try a bit of everything!
WHO’S IT FOR?
If you are new to cheerleading you can get an introduction to cheerleading, meet the team and get a better idea of what tryouts will be like! It’s the perfect opportunity to make some friends which you’ll see again at tryouts and get excited about the upcoming season. You can also ask our current team members questions and see what it really means to join the Full House Family.
If you are returning to cheerleading then this is your chance to perfect your latest stunt, practice that tumble you’re about to hit and catch up with for friends whilst welcome the future Full House Family Members!
WHAT’S IT LIKE?
Camps will cover all the key elements of cheerleading like jumps, stunts, tumbling, shapes, stretching and dance. We will have access to all of our facilities and equipment for the full week and allow athletes to try a bit of everything!
All abilities are welcome from beginners to experienced athletes and you can book up to 5 days. We’ll play games, make routines, practice skills and even do an assault course! Our camps also include lots of games, competitions and prizes! You can earn cheer bows as you perfect your skills as the consecutive sessions help you notice quick improvements.
We offer a two types of camp – Cheerleading or Tumbling. During the ULTIMATE Cheerleading camp athletes will learn all elements of Cheerleading including stunting, tumbling, pyramids, jumps and dance. Children will get a taste of what Cheerleading is – getting involved in cheerleading stunts, routines and learning new skills. Our camps also include lots of games, competitions and prizes! This is a great chance to try Cheerleading out before joining Ultimate Cheer! It is also a great opportunity to work on skills in the lead up to tryouts.
During the ULTIMATE Tumbling camp athletes will work on Tumbling skills, which is similar to the floor element of gymnastics! They will help perfect current skills and progress to more advanced skills. We focus on drills, cheer conditioning, stretching and skill work.
We have the extensive facilities that will help your child’s tumbling improve safely and quickly. This includes a sprung tumbling track (Yes! like the sprung floors at Cheerleading and gymnastics competitions), air track, a 9-panel Cheerleading floor and lots of tumbling equipment along with qualified coaches.
