COACHING TEAM

Tasmin
Tasmin’s own cheerleading experience inspired her to create Ultimate Cheer: an inclusive programme where athletes of all ages and abilities can feel valued, build confidence and reach their potential.
Her coaching career began at Bristol University, where she led her team to become Ultimate Champions, placing first in the UK. Since then, she has coached All-Star, school and university teams across all levels, achieving Grand Champion titles and numerous national and regional wins. She has also cheered on ESPN and choreographed for the Rugby League World Cup.
Alongside coaching, Tasmin is an experienced competition judge across Cheer Levels 0–7, Tiny to Masters and all styles of dance. She holds coaching qualifications for Levels 1–7 and is one of only a small number of IASF-certified Safety Judges in the UK. Tasmin is also Enhanced DBS checked, First Aid certified and qualified in child protection and safeguarding young people.

Ashlea
Ashlea has experience working with children, schools and community organisations and is passionate about helping young people grow in confidence and reach their potential. As a mum of three, she understands how important it is for children to feel supported, encouraged and included. She believes cheerleading is a fantastic way to develop teamwork, resilience and self-belief, and loves seeing athletes grow in confidence, celebrate their achievements and enjoy being part of a team.

Sophie
Sophie has spent the last 15 years working with children and young people across early years, nannying and school marketing. She holds a degree in Psychology and a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education. Sophie is passionate about building confidence, supporting development and helping young people reach their potential. She loves being part of a team that encourages athletes to discover what they are capable of and, outside of Ultimate Cheer, enjoys travelling around the UK and Europe in her vintage motorhome.

Katie
Katie brings extensive experience in HR and organisational culture to her role as Ultimate Cheer’s Culture Manager. She is passionate about wellbeing, engagement, diversity and inclusion, helping athletes, families and coaches feel welcomed and supported. Having worked across sport at both grassroots and elite levels, Katie understands the importance of a positive team culture. She works closely with the wider team to encourage open communication and maintain an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.

Teddy
Teddy brings 10 years of All-Star cheerleading experience from across the globe. He trained and coached in Canada with the Cheersport Sharks before winning a World Championship title with the Cheersport Starspotted Sharks. Since then, he has continued developing his coaching and choreography across all levels, creating World Bid-winning routines. Teddy is passionate about producing outstanding cheerleading, creating show-stopping routines and helping every athlete develop their skills, confidence and potential.

Sacha
As Ultimate Cheer’s Scoring Manager, Sacha oversees scoring across our competitive programme, helping coaches and athletes understand score sheets, strengthen routines and maximise their performance. She also coaches Queen of Hearts alongside Teddy and holds coaching qualifications from Levels 1–6, as well as being a certified Varsity Judge. Sacha joined Ultimate Cheer in Season 3 after beginning her cheerleading journey at the University of Reading, where she competed on its Level 1 and Level 2 teams.

Evie
Creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for every athlete is at the heart of Evie’s role as Ultimate Cheer’s Safeguarding Lead. She works closely with athletes, families and coaches across the programme and also coaches Aces. Evie began cheerleading at the University of Roehampton, competing with its Level 1 squad and group stunt teams and winning a National Championship title in 2018. She joined Ultimate Cheer in Season 3 and continues to compete with Wild Card alongside her coaching and safeguarding roles.

Katie
Leading the club’s marketing, Katie uses her creativity and passion for cheerleading to promote Ultimate Cheer and help its community grow. She began cheerleading at Royal Holloway University, competing at Levels 2 and 3 and winning a National Championship title with her Level 3 stunt team. Katie joined Ultimate Cheer as an athlete in Season 7 and now coaches Showdown while continuing to compete with Wild Card. She also takes part in the Elite Pathway and enjoys supporting athletes and contributing to the club both on and off the mat.

Nia
Coaching Triple Threat and Wild Card this season, Nia brings extensive cheerleading and tumbling experience to Ultimate Cheer. She previously cheered with ICE Lady Lightning, a World Champion programme recognised for competing at the highest level of the sport. Nia has coached athletes across all levels, from beginners developing strong foundations to experienced competitors refining advanced skills. Known for her supportive and energetic coaching style, she is passionate about building confidence, encouraging teamwork and helping every athlete develop their skills while enjoying their progression within the sport.

Ella

Andrea
Andrea began in gymnastics, competing internationally with the Zimbabwe National Gymnastics Team, before discovering cheerleading at university as a base and tumbler. After time away travelling, she joined UC and quickly became part of the Full House Family. This season, Andrea competes on Wild Card, trains within the Adult Elite Pathway and is developing through the UC Coaching Pathway while supporting Showdown. She loves helping athletes build confidence, celebrate their progress and feel safe and supported.

Cam
Cam brings over 15 years of cheer experience and a real passion for sharing her knowledge with others. Cheer has always been a huge part of her life, and she loves helping athletes develop their skills, confidence and teamwork. This season, Cam competes on Wild Card, trains within the Adult Elite Pathway and is continuing her coaching journey through the UC Coaching Pathway. She can’t wait to work hard, have fun and continue growing alongside the Full House Family.

Rachael
Rachael began her cheerleading journey at university in 2012 and quickly fell in love with the sport. She joined Ultimate Cheer for Season 2 in 2019 and has since competed across Levels 3–5. This season, Rachael continues to train within Adult Development while developing her skills through the Ultimate Cheer Coaching Pathway. She is passionate about supporting athletes, building their confidence and helping them work towards their goals while continuing to grow as both an athlete and coach at Ultimate Cheer.
