Tasmin Steer
Tasmin’s own cheerleading experience inspired her to create a Cheer team in London. What makes this program special is that it has a place for everyone, from kids’ classes to adult-only, allowing athletes to feel valued and progress to the best of their ability.
Tasmin’s coaching career started at Bristol University, where she led the team to become Ultimate Champions – meaning they placed first in the UK!
During her time coaching Tasmin has worked with All-Star, school, and university squads of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced and athletes from ages 3 – 30+. She has also cheered on ESPN and choreographed for the Rugby League World Cup!
Her teams have been named:
Ultimate Champions (first place in the UK)!
Grand Champions
Numerous National & Regional Championship titles
…and a large percentage of athletes on these teams were completely new to Cheer!
Beyond Cheer coaching, Tasmin is also a highly experienced judge, working at Cheerleading competitions across the UK. She has judged Cheer levels 0 to level 7, Tiny to Masters, and all styles of dance. This unique experience feeds directly into her role as Head Coach, as it is invaluable when coaching and choreographing routines at Ultimate Cheer.
She holds her Cheerleading coaching qualifications for Levels 1 – 7 and is also one of only a handful of IASF-certified Safety Judges in the UK. She is DBS (Enhanced) checked, First Aid certified, and holds safeguarding certifications in Child Protection in Education & Safeguarding Young People.

Claire
Claire has been an administrator for almost 5 years and has worked for the not for profit organisation, The Soldiers’ Arts Academy CIC, and as a freelancer. She has a degree in English Language and Literature and an MA in Creative Writing. She is super organised (thanks to running around after her 9 year old son) and will keeps things running smoothly! She is excited to head into her third season with Ultimate Cheer and immerse herself in all things Cheerleading.

Teddy
Teddy brings to us 10 years of Allstar cheerleading experience that has taken him across the globe. Teddy spent 1 year in Canada coaching and training with the Cheersport Sharks. He went on to claim a world championship title with the two-time world champions – Cheersport Starspotted Sharks.
Since then he has continued to grow his coaching and choreographing abilities across all levels, allowing him to create world bid winning routines.
Teddy is over the moon to be joining the Ultimate Cheer family and looks forward to coaching outstanding cheerleading, creating show stopping routines and building exceptional athletes!

Sacha Harding
Currently, Sacha is the lead coach for Cheat (Senior Level 3) and Jack Attack (U16 Level 1). She holds coaching qualifications from Levels 1 to 6 and is also a certified Varsity Judge. In addition to her coaching role, she oversees scoring for our competition teams as the club’s Scoring Manager.
Sacha joined Ultimate Cheer in Season 3 and has proven to be a dedicated athlete and a fantastic base. She began her cheerleading journey at the University of Reading, where she was an athlete on their Level 1 and 2 teams.

Katie Orman
Katie is new to Ultimate Cheer this season and is taking on the role of Culture Manager! Katie has a wealth of experience in HR and Organisational culture and has a passion for wellbeing, engagement and diversity and inclusion. She has worked across a range of sports at both grassroots and elite levels. She will be on hand to help maintain a positive, inclusive and values-led club culture.

Evie Couder
Evie started cheerleading at the University of Roehampton, where she competed with their level 1 squad and group stunt teams, winning a National Championship title in 2018.
She then joined the Ultimate Cheer family back in season 3 as an athlete, she is now lead coach of Showdown as well as being our safeguarding lead. Evie will be competing with Wild Card (Open Level 5 NT).

Lily Millard
Lily started cheerleading in 2011 and has competed in every position, most recently as a base on Wild Card. She has competed in allstar and university cheer as well as pom and hip hop, earning both national and international titles.
Lily is super excited to return to coaching this season after moving from Australia having previously led her gym’s Cheerability program. She loves helping athletes showcase their full potential on the mat and creating a space where people can both work hard and make friends.

Karina Mann
Karina started her cheerleading journey at the University of Liverpool. In her first year competing at Level 1, her team won National Champions at BCA University Nationals! In addition to competing Karina was part of their development team. She fell in love with the sport and so in her final year at university become the President of her Liverpool Foxes.
Karina couldn’t resist the buzz of the cheer world so joined Ultimate Cheer in Season 5. Karina is lead coach for Triple Threat and will assistant coach Jack Attack. She especially cannot wait to work with athletes who may be new to the sport. She loves the team-driven nature of cheerleading and hopes that through her role as coach, she can support young athletes through their own journey as blossoming cheerleaders! Alongside coaching, Karina competes with Wild Card (Level 5 NT).

Helena Lowcock
Helena started cheerleading at university and has never looked back! She has competed on levels 2, 3 and 4 tumble and non-tumble teams. She is so excited to contribute to the positive and welcoming atmosphere at Ultimate Cheer, and develop her coaching skills as coach for our Adult Development Class.

Ahrian Taylor
Ahrian started cheerleading on a Junior level 1 team when she was 12 and shortly afterwards started her coaching journey with Youth level 1. She joined Bournemouth Elite when the programme was founded and stayed there for 7 more years, competing on levels 1 through 4 and helping to build and coach their first Youth and Junior teams, coaching Youth 1 to national champions, as well as coaching a Junior 2 stunt group and being a keen step-in for all other teams!
Ahrian took a break from cheer in 2017 to focus on her studies and career, but couldn’t stay away for too long and is super excited to be part of the UC family. She loves to see athletes grow and gain confidence through training, and having had a tumbling injury herself, she knows how difficult mental blocks can be, so is a big advocate for mental preparedness as well as drills before skills!

Nia Cartwright
Coach Nia brings a wealth of experience and passion to the team, having cheered with ICE Lady Lightning, a World Champion cheerleading program known for excellence and athleticism at the highest level of competition. With years of coaching experience in both cheer and tumbling, Nia has trained athletes across all levels. She has experience with beginners building foundational skills to advanced competitors perfecting elite skills. Known for a supportive yet high-energy coaching style, Nia focuses on developing confident, technically strong athletes while fostering teamwork, resilience, and a love for the sport.

Emily Harris
Emily began her cheerleading journey 3 years ago, after 10 years of gymnastics.
This is her 4th season with UC, and first season being lead coach of a team! After competing level 1.2, 3, 6, and junior coaching level 3 and level 2 tumble, she is now coaching Heartbreakers. She is thrilled to be taking on this team, looking forward to the challenge and can’t wait to lead them to tiny novice victory!

Katie Hillman
Katie started cheerleading at her undergraduate university, as part of the Royal Holloway Bears, where she competed in levels 2 and 3, and where she earned her first National Champion Title with her Level 3 stunt team! During her time at university she became Wellbeing and Diversity Secretary for the club, supporting all members and making their time as a Bear as best as possible!
After university, Katie had a year break whilst living abroad, but knowing how much she loved and missed cheerleading, she knew she had to come back to the sport, and therefore found herself at Ultimate Cheer competing with 4OAK and Cheat as a main base in season 7! She is so excited to join the coaching family in Season 8 as well as competing with Wild Card!

Olivier Juneau
Olivier is a 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Cheerleading World Champion from Canada, who loves all things acrobatic in nature. He trained as a trampolinist before finding his way into the world of tumbling and cheer. His cheer career began at Flyers All-Starz before he moved on to Notorious in 2019.

Rachael Bowler
Rachael began her cheerleading journey at university in 2012 and quickly fell in love with the sport. She joined the Ultimate Cheer family for Season 2 in 2019 as an athlete and has competed across levels 3-5. Now stepping into a coaching role for Season 8, she is excited to continue to develop and support athletes in reaching their goals.
